Notes & circulating recordings
Exact date unknown.
Released officially on the Kiss "Hard To Believe" tribute. This is the only studio appearance of Jason Everman on guitar!
The track contains Dive, some talk and then a short piece of 'School' wich ends suddenly.
xx/06/1989 Evergreen State College, Olympia, WA, US
Band members: Kurt Cobain (guitar, vocals)
Krist Novoselic (bass)
Jason Everman (guitar)
Chad Channing (drums)
Producer: Greg Babior
Recorded: Do You Love Me?
Dive
Sources: 'Do You Love Me?' from this session is on the tribute to Kiss CD 'Hard To Believe'.
A short 2 minute clip of 'Dive' on video surfaced in October 2002.
Notes: This session features the only studio performance of Jason Everman with NIRVANA.
Nothing further was known about this session until in August 2002
it was announced that a video clip from this session had been found.
All four band members are filmed standing, and the song in question was 'Dive',
finally confirming the old information sources.
The video, however, is extremely poor quality and suffers from severe tracking problems.
It is worth noting that 'Outcesticide IV' claims to feature 'Dive' from this session;
in fact it is a soundboard live version.
Generation: VIDx ~ CDR(x) ~ WAV (EAC==99,9%) ~ FLAC v1.7.1 ~ CDR(x)
A piece of mind:
On March 20, 1990 the band shot videos for "School," "Lithium," "Big Cheese," and "Floyd The Barber" at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington with the help of some students.
It is possible that the track school is from this recording and not from the one in 1989
